yest was my brother's bday, so decided to bake a cake for him...

hmm... sugar has failed me not once but twice today... haha

firstly was the brownies recipes required caster sugar, which I remember I bought 1pkt quite awhile back, and only use a small little bit.. but when I need to use it... I turn my whole kitchen upside down... it's nowhere to be found... so I change it to normal sugar... hope it will taste nice haha

as I clean up the mess in the kitchen... I saw my milk... and decided to continue to bake another thing... Scones!!!

I have all the ingredients needed.. was happily measuring the flour, butter etc... and was about to take out the brown sugar I bought few mth back for my cookies... was nowhere to be found too!!! again I dig all the cabinets in my kitchen... I just cant seen to find it... so end up I replace it with normal sugar... the outcome wasn't bad... just that not much taste... but it shall go well with some jams haha

I know why my scones are not sweet... instead of 1 tablespoon of golden syrup.. I only put like 1 teaspoon haha

Oh ya.. my scone does taste liek the Popeye's buttermilk bun haha
